Yesterday building the berms at the Lorton project. This was a really fun design since the client wanted something different and that would reflect their love for art. The spirals are based on the Golden Ratio. Part of having the mounds is also to elevate the planting and give them some privacy from an access road. Hundreds of native plants will populate these spirals and hopefully lots of pollinators as well. Very grateful for all the help I am getting in translating this design to reality. Stay tuned. The NPLD team and the crew from our contractor at our site today. It was so hot and humid, but we all managed to keep the morale up and excellent teamwork. We are installing a native garden with about 90 different plant species and more than 3,000 plants. I believe it will be the most beautiful native plant garden in Vienna, Va. Very grateful to this client who trusted us with this wonderful project and has the will and desire to help the environment.
The NPLD team and the crew from our contractor at our site today. It was so hot and humid, but we all managed to keep the morale up and excellent teamwork. We are installing a native garden with about 90 different plant species and more than 3,000 plants. I believe it will be the most beautiful native plant garden in Vienna, Va.
